The inaugural issue of the Journal of Applied in Cognitive Behavioral Science (JACOBS) presents empirical and applied studies focusing on cognitive-behavioral approaches in psychology. This edition features research on narrative career counseling, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused interventions for children and adolescents, social skills training, and the development of psychometric instruments in organizational settings.

The articles are contributed by scholars from various Indonesian universities, including Universitas Jambi, Universitas Pembangunan Jaya, Universitas Gadjah Mada, University Bina Nusantara, Universitas Islam Indonesia, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Universitas Baitrurrahim, and Universitas Lambung Mangkurat.

This issue reflects JACOBS’ commitment to disseminating rigorous, ethical, and evidence-based psychological research that supports psychological well-being and applied practice across diverse contexts.

Journal of Applied in Cognitive Behavioral Science is a peer-reviewed open-access journal managed by Nalatama Research Center that serves as a platform for the dissemination of psychological knowledge and empirical research. This journal aims to contribute to the scientific development of psychology through the publication of high-quality articles that present conceptual, theoretical, and research-based perspectives across various psychological subfields.

The scope of Journal of Applied in Cognitive Behavioral Science includes but is not limited clinical psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, psychometrics, industrial and organizational psychology, educational psychology, and sport psychology. It also welcomes interdisciplinary studies that integrate psychology with other sciences in addressing complex human behaviors and mental health issues.

The journal accepts original empirical research, theoretical analysis, case studies, and comprehensive literature reviews that offer fresh insights and adhere to established scientific and ethical standards. All submissions must be original, unpublished, and free from any form of plagiarism. Manuscripts are expected to demonstrate methodological rigor and relevance to current psychological discourse.

All submitted articles are processed through the Open Journal System (OJS) and must follow the journal’s author guidelines and formatting instructions. Each manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review conducted by experts with appropriate subject-matter expertise. Through this process, Jurnal Pemikiran dan Riset Psikologi ensures the integrity, quality, and impact of every published article.
