JACOBS takes plagiarism seriously and uses reputable plagiarism detection tools to screen all submitted manuscripts. Plagiarism, including self-plagiarism and uncredited use of others’ work, is strictly prohibited.

Submissions found to have significant similarity with previously published work will be returned to the author for correction or rejected outright, depending on the severity. We expect authors to ensure that their manuscripts are original and properly cited.

We believe that plagiarism undermines the integrity of scholarly communication. Therefore, maintaining originality and academic honesty is a core part of our editorial policy.

Authors are encouraged to check their work for plagiarism before submission. Any misconduct related to plagiarism will be handled in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
